Volunteers for various Alden Community Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars Initiatives!

The Alden Community Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars is recruiting Volunteers for General Membership to its Board.

The following Volunteer Board positions are available:

• Major Gifts Officer -- responsible for interacting with the present Administrators of the Endowed and General Scholarships under the umbrella of the Alden Community Scholarship Foundation, as well as the establishment of future Endowed and General Scholarships

• Alumni Officer -- responsible for interacting with Graduates of Alden Central High School (all Years) to procure Class Reunion and Individual Gifts to the Endowed "Dr. Richard E. Gilbert Alden Alumni Scholarship"

• Public Relations Officer -- responsible for overseeing all public relations efforts on behalf of the Alden Community Scholarship Foundation, including writing articles within the Alden community newspaper and other publications, especially for the Foundation's annual fundraiser; i.e., the 5k Race for Scholarships and the Homecoming BBQ Event

• Event Volunteers -- assists with all fundraising initiatives throughout the calendar year; i.e., Xmas in the Park (early December), 5k Race for Scholarships (May/June), Homecoming BBQ Event (September/October)
