Our Foundation seeks to serve deserving seniors of Alden High School on an Annual basis. Students are awarded scholarships in June at senior night and accordingly recognized for their accomplishments and achievements. Student success is also a driving factor to show that our scholarships have a lasting impact on a student's college education and further into a specific career. While we don't immediately see the success of our recipients, we continually follow up with recipients to see how they have reached their goals in life. Students who were awarded scholarships under the programs are now in the following professions:
- Serving as a Post-Tehcnical Graduate at the Governmental Accounting Standard Board (GASB) developing various accounting standards
- Serving as educators in various fields, including ESOL, Literacy, Adolescent Education, and Secondary Education
- Serving as staff/senior accountants at various not for profit companies, manufacturing companies, and other companies which are also publicly traded
- Serving as public accountants in both the tax and audit fields for a variety of clients
- Serving as medical/nurse practitioners at various hospitals locally and nationally
- Serving as coaches in various sports at the collegiate, high school, and youth level
- Serving as engineers in the construction field
